Rosemary arranges and schedules appointments for Father Carmen, prepares parish correspondence, reports, and memoranda at his request and serves as his liaison with parish ministries. She is responsible for the bulletin, sets up and maintains pastoral and personnel files as well as processing inquires for baptisms, weddings, funerals, and registration of new parishioners

Parish Dog

Random is a sweet and lovable member of the parish.  Her ministerial work includes providing therapy dog services at nursing homes, easing the anxieties of  children during reconciliation and providing companionship to Fr. Carmen and all staff and volunteers at the parish as well as chasing away any rogue squirrels that may be on the parish grounds.

Brandi Helma
Director of Music

Brandi Helma plays the piano, organ, and directs the choir for mass each weekend. She is responsible for rehearsing with the choir weekly and preparing music for weekend masses. Her husband Robert assists by singing with and directing the choir.


Nicole Waer
Director of Religious Education

Nicole handles all of our Faith Formation needs including Children's Liturgy of the Word and Faith Formation classes for Kindergarten - 8th Grade. She oversees Youth Ministry, Sacramental Preparation and Adult Faith Formation programs.

Father Carmen Malacari is from Utica, New York. He was ordained by Bishop Howard Hubbard at Our Lady of Angels in Albany, NY in 1993. Father has served in the Diocese of Charlotte since 1993 as parochial vicar at St. John Neuman Church, St. Patrick Cathedral and St. Matthew Church. He also served at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Syracuse, NY.

Permanent Deacon


Deacon Matt assists Father Carmen at masses and preaches the homily on a regular basis. He instructs discerning adults by heading the RCIA program and trains altar servers, Eucharistic Ministers and Ushers. His wife Donna assists by serving as a Eucharistic Minister and Lector.

Reverend Mr. Webster James
Permanent Deacon


Deacon Webster provides assistance as needed to Father Carmen at the Celebration of the Eucharist. Deacon Webster is an advocate for annulments He is also responsible for the training of lectors and assists with the RCIA program and with communion calls to the sick and home bound. His wife Celia provides support to our Faith Formation Program.
